OSP Therapist

Tara is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She received her Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor in 2018.
Coping with depression and anxiety can be challenging, but Tara believes that healing is best achieved through collaboration and support. She values a partnership approach, combining patients’ knowledge of their own lives with a clinician’s evidence-based insights and research to foster meaningful and lasting well-being.
Tara supports her patients using a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness Self-Compassion.
Prior to joining OSP, Tara worked as a primary care social worker at CarePoint Health from December 2021 to April 2026, where she provided short-term counselling and service navigation to patients and families managing chronic mental health and other health-related challenges. Before joining CarePoint, Tara worked extensively in crisis counselling and addiction treatment.
Tara provides services in both English and Mandarin.
